chi_mesh.FromFileMeshGenerator

Generator for loading an unpartitioned mesh from a file.

Example usage:

Create this object:

params = 
{
    param_name1 = value1,
    param_name2 = value2,
    --etc.
}
chi_mesh.FromFileMeshGenerator.Create(params)

Required Input parameters

►filename       Path to the file

type=STRING. Path to the file.

Optional Input parameters

►boundary_id_fieldname       The name of the field storing boundary-ids

type=STRING. The name of the field storing boundary-ids

Default value: ""

►inputs       A list of handles to MeshGenerator objects

type=ARRAY. A list of handles to MeshGenerator objects

Default value:

►material_id_fieldname       The name of the field storing cell block/material ids

type=STRING. The name of the field storing cell block/material ids. Only really used for .vtu, .pvtu and .e files.

Default value: "BlockID"

►partitioner       Handle to a GraphPartitioner object to use for parallel partitioning

type=INTEGER. Handle to a GraphPartitioner object to use for parallel partitioning.This will default to PETScGraphPartitioner with a "parmetis" setting

Default value: 0

►replicated_mesh       Flag, when set, makes the mesh appear in full fidelity on each process

type=BOOLEAN. Flag, when set, makes the mesh appear in full fidelity on each process

Default value: false

►scale       Uniform scale to apply to the mesh after reading

type=FLOAT. Uniform scale to apply to the mesh after reading.

Default value: 1(double)
